The 150 BHP 2.0 engine is fitted with a variable geometry intake
system, giving more gradual and smoother power delivery.
It is also available in the version with Selespeed transmission,
fitted with robotic gear shift and clutch control.
This engine conforms to Euro 3 standards.

1.6 Twin Spark 16v (1598 cc, 105 BHP-EEC, 185 km/hr)
Twin Spark technology ensures tremendous reserves of power and
considerable elasticity even at low speeds.
The 1.6 petrol engine has near-maximum torque values available at 2000
rpm. The engine weight has been reduced by 4 Kg, meaning savings on
fuel consumption and, confirming Alfa Romeo’s concern for the
environment, reduced gaseous and noise emissions.
This engine conforms to Euro 3 standards.
1.6 Twin Spark 16v (1598 cc, 120 BHP-EEC, 195 km/hr)
Another Twin Spark engine providing top-of-the-range performance with
all the characteristics of bigger sports engines.
Its 120 BHP can deliver a top speed of 195 km/hr and
acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hr in 10.6 seconds.
This engine conforms to Euro 3 standards.

Exterior
The
styling of the new Alfa 147 is the outcome of extensive studies
encompassing each and every detail, from the pronounced projection of
the front overhang to the bigger-sized fenders and the new design of
the bumpers.
Three brand-new vertical elements create a sophisticated motif that
underscores the functional air intake, endowing the front with new
character and a sportier appearance.
The overall shape of the Alfa 147 was conceived to
minimise drag while retaining all the ergonomic quality of the
interior and the model’s inimitable stylistic characterisation.
Brilliant roadholding comes from a perfectly balanced distribution of
the vehicle volumes, achieved at the design stage. Every lineament was
specially conceived to ensure sturdiness and agility, to combine a
feeling of power with soft, streamlined shapes.
The slightly bulging wheel arches align the wheels with the end of the
body, and a wide choice of wheels includes 16” and 17” aluminium
alloy options mated to wide tyres.
